  2. • We all live in a… • #tstStories

A bit North of #Rimouski I got a guitar lesson in the Onondaga submarine!!!

Together with my teacher Ian I dove into local song ‘Les ailes d’un Ange’, a blues routine and of course ‘Yellow Submarine’ from the Beatles.

A great lesson with a lot of depth ;-)

    Thank you Ian!

Stumbled upon this awesome art installation North of #Rimouski. It’s the life’s work from one guy that lives just by the Saint Laurence river.

  6. Mansion Photography • #tstMoments

The Reford Mansion at Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens was home to Robert Reford who was an avid and reknowned photographer.

He owned the very first #Kodak camera in Canada and explored the area taking over 10.000 pictures. Impressive for those times.

  7. • Flowers & Flavors • #tstStories

On arrival in #Rimouski I got invited by the people in charge of Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens.

The garden is home to a beautiful culinary experience. They cultivate edible flowers and Pierre and the kitchen team experiment with their flavors.

The variety of flavors is as vast as the range of colors which surprised me a lot. I had no idea. From bitter to sweet, spicy to tangy a new world of taste opened up.

    a beautiful and tasteful experience.

  8. Have a seat • #tstMoments

The past days have been intense!

I drove 1000 km, explored the #Rimouski area, tasted edible flowers, had a submarine jam session and then made my way to Québec city where I had my first busking experience, a jam session on the St Laurence river and now I’m in the middle of a forest surrounded by moose.

I found some time to write things down so stay tuned for coming posts.

  10. The Stairs & The Silver Lining• #tstStories

You might have picked up that my van broke down in #Fredericton New Brunswick.

It drove to 1 garage and then got towed to 2 other. From an oil change to fixing engine problems to replacing a new starter.

Because of it I was stranded in Fredericton for 4 days.

All this time I was hosted and taken care of by Craig, Melissa and their awesome daughter Ryan. They offered me a roof over my head, helped me to get the van fixed, introduced me to their friends and even took me along to their friend’s wedding.

It allowed me to rest, catch up with work, deal with my car issues and experience a beautiful time.

Wonderful people with a warm and welcoming heart.

Send them some love in the comments ;-)

    Thank you.
